During the last week of July, we worked our one-millionth man-hour since our last recordable accident. After our meetings with Zero Injury Institute last year, management set a company-wide goal to reach 1,000,000 man-hours without a recordable injury. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of all of you, we have reached that goal!
Over the past 26 years, Zero Injury Institute has maintained a Safety Hall of Honor representing all the contractors they have found in North America to reach one million safe man-hours. We are now the 34th contractor added to the list.
Thanks to each of our employees, for their continued commitment to safety, to our company, and to one another. Each of you is truly "One in a Million!" We will now continue to look to everyone involved with our company, as we set our sights on two million safe man-hours and more.
We are all tremendously proud of the milestone that has been reached. Since Becky Mason started spearheading our safety push in the early 1990's, we have strived to continually improve our safety culture. Whether through the many Golden Triangle Business Roundtable awards we have received, or through this new milestone, our employees always prove up to the challenge.
Over the past several years, with many clients, we have fought to prove that we are a safety conscious company. This type of accomplishment helps to turn that task in our favor.
In the last year, we have had a big push on training. Along with the normal training we provide every year, last month, we completed our OSHA 30 Supervisor training, as well as our Crane and Aerial Lift training. Employee participation has made the Mason Ranger program more successful than we ever imagined. We applaud you all for your commitment to your careers and to this company.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to making sure everyone goes home safe.
Continue to make it a safe day!
